Wales on Rails launch, Cardiff Central 10 March
Vaughan Gething MS: Minister for Economy, is launched our new sister project walesonrails.co.uk, Promoting tourism by using public transport throughout Wales, 10 March, at Cardiff Central Station.
This project is a collaboration between Great Little Trains of Wales and our Community Rail Partnerships.
‘Wales on Rails’ is a new website with itineraries and attractions coming together with the journeys, by rail, little heritage steam railways and buses, being the star of the show.
David Jones, Bala Lake Railway general manager and Chair of Great Little Trains of Wales says:
“Wales as some of the most scenic railways in the world. As we start to travel more, it would be great if people would consider visiting Wales in a sustainable way and make public transport part of their visit or their main reason to visit Wales.”
